In the late '90s, Nicole began her career in marketing as an editor and writer for Yamamoto Moss – then one of the largest independent marketing agencies in the Midwest. With clients ranging from start-ups to Royal Caribbean, 3M, Target, and Wells Fargo, she learned how to craft a client's voice and collaborate with designers, researchers, and other strategists.

After Nicole returned to Appleton, WI, former colleagues kept hiring her as a freelancer. Twenty-five years later, her to-do list is packed with everything from Fortune 500 companies to non-profits.
